HENDERSON, Ky. (WEVV) — One couple is celebrating their wedding anniversary at a special place, like they always have for the past 42 years.

For Randy and Gina Boyd, they met in the late fall of 1982 while living in Hopkins County. 

“We went to Pizza Hut for our first date,” says Gina Boyd, the wife.

“Our first date was only the second day we had ever met,” says Randy Boyd, the husband.

The pair kept coming back. They just clicked as they spent more and more time together.

“Then it happened again on our wedding day. Five weeks after the first day we met,” says Randy.

It was an instant spark. A connection that has now grown into a family that is based on love and commitment.
